This video is great. It show artists C215 working and explaining the meaning behind his art. It is short and to the point. It gets the main message of his work across in very little time and allows the viewer to understand why he does what he does. This is an artist that reacts to the people on the street through the art on the street.
The idea of crossing interview and image is starting to form in my head from watching artist profile videos. It can be a little stagnant to watch a long winded interview. When you keep the pace of the film a bit faster with cutting to moving image while the artist talks you then get a more dynamic and engaging film. The soundtrack on this video has a slightly french tinge to it with the accordian that resonates the sound of what we think of as parisian but also that of the Parisian street.
I also noted that a popular shot in this video was to zoom out on images rather than zoom in. I think this is so you first see some detail and then the bigger picture.
